Tis Minthis (St Anthony) Monastery - Minthis Hills
Tis Minthis or St. Anthony's Monastery, is a 12th century miniature monastery set high in the hills above Paphos around which the 18 hole championship golf course Minthis Hills has been created. Until recently the home of a single monk (famous for his roses) the monastery church is still a dedicated Greek Orthodox Church however, Anglican weddings can be celebrated in the church and within the peacefully cool and historic setting of the Monastery courtyard - an ideal venue for the hotter months. The scenery is outstanding and the stylish five star Minthis Hills Clubhouse and Restaurant, situated on the other side of the valley, can provide all the required facilities. Anglican weddings at this venue can be performed any day, including Sunday (by special request).
